It’s all about the essence of a brand. For Kate, it’s about bringing a story to life, not only through words, but through total aesthetic…and most importantly, instilling that feeling.

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in the early 2000’s, Kate started her career locally as the Marketing Director for a small senior care business. Building this brand from the ground up in a competitive marketplace, the company’s success - due to her grassroots marketing - skyrocketed and led to a corporate acquisition by a leading healthcare company. This, paired with her editorial work at a local newspaper, soon led her to pursue a marketing career in New York City.

Continuing to work in digital media for a variety of Millennial-driven companies such as DEFY Media and MTV, Kate continued to build her portfolio in the constantly evolving space. While branded digital content creation was her focus, Kate simultaneously managed campaigns and collaboratively worked with social, video, editorial, and data teams to generate and compile innovative creative marketing solutions.

Kate then went to manage a team of integrated marketers within the corporate sector of Hearst Magazines. Focusing on beauty brands specifically, Kate led the marketing efforts across sites and magazines and has a true passion for strategy, data, and creativity.

She is currently at Future PLC, working for trend-forward beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands such as Who What Wear and Marie Claire.

She has moderated industry panels, was a part of the Women's Leadership Alliance, and stays active within her community by volunteering her services to local businesses. When she is not working, she contributes to her local music community via her blog, TheSoundRochester.com and sings and plays bass in her indie rock band, Bad Bloom. Contact her to find out more about how she works.
